Louiza Hadjicharalambous is a dedicated junior lawyer with a growing interest in the intersection of emerging technologies and law, particularly in the areas of blockchain and climate change. Having earned her LLM in Corporate Law from University College London with distinction-level research on ESG regulation, Louiza combines her legal expertise with a keen understanding of sustainability frameworks and technological innovations. She is currently advancing her knowledge through an MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currencies at the University of Nicosia, where she received a merit-based scholarship for her academic performance in the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Digital Currencies.

Louiza’s professional path has been shaped by a desire to understand and navigate the evolving legal challenges presented by technology and climate action. In her roles as a Junior Lawyer at the Hybrid LawTech firm and a Legal Research Officer at the Blockchain and Climate Institute, she has gained hands-on experience in legal research, drafting, and regulatory analysis. Her work focuses on how governance and regulatory frameworks can adapt to support emerging industries, with a particular focus on practical solutions for climate and technology-driven fields.

Balancing a strong work ethic with a reflective approach, Louiza is committed to developing her expertise and contributing meaningfully to the legal field. Fluent in English, Greek, and French, she values collaboration in diverse and international settings. Outside of her professional life, Louiza finds inspiration through running, hiking, and literature, activities that allow her to recharge, fuel her creativity, and bring fresh perspectives to her work.
